The story
Group 9 Technologies is the company behind the work of Tlaitirang Sekgobela Rathete — a South African engineer who builds across web, native iOS, cloud infrastructure and Power BI, and who started writing a spec before every build long before it was a company policy.
The studio was registered in June 2026 to put that way of working on a proper footing: a legal entity clients can contract with, a B-BBEE certificate procurement teams can file, and a team that can carry more than one project at a time. The first months went into shipping four production sites for a group of healthcare, engineering and logistics businesses — sites that are live today and linked from this one.
The range is deliberately wide. Most organisations we work with do not need a web agency, a cloud consultant, an IT company and a licensing reseller — they need one partner who can do the software work and be accountable for it. So the services list is long, and the answer to "do you do this?" is usually yes, and occasionally an honest referral.
